Happy 20th Birthday, AISHAH MOHD NOOR! You have lived through two decades, may your coming decades be blessed with perpetual bliss dan semoga dimurahkan rezeki. Amin.
i have been and will be very busy. so, won't be updating the blog that regularly.
how's langkawi? i wanna go again! the highlights of my trip there would be the cable car ride & island hopping. the beautiful sun. the pristine beach. the soft sand. one tip though, if you're planning to go...be sure to have an awesome company, 'cause that, plus the beautiful sea, sun & sand, is what's gonna make the trip memorable. =)
oh, and the only form of public transportation they have there are taxis. No buses lah sey! you can rent cars & motorcycles if you'd like to travel by yourselves, and the "van" type of cabs charge A LOT more than the normal car taxis.
if you plan to go to there, i suggest staying at the Pantai Cenang area 'cause that place is a lot more happening at night. we stayed at a resort in Padang Masirat which was conveniently located near the airport but its very quiet once the sun is down.
it's back to school, by the way. tourism project is over and done with, 'cept for the presentation. had an ayam penyet dinner date with elii babe and we went CRAZY. i bet the mas from Ayam Penyet Ria spiked our teh-peng! saying the words DEWA & BALLROOM would never be the same again. and i found an awesome place to "see people watch"! dan tolong eh kawan-kawan, when someone moves to the left when going down the escalator, it's to let others pass! haha. Monday madness.
here's a local band i'd like to recommend all of you to check out,
The Great Spy Experiment.
caught both of their sets on Saturday at the Esplanade and they're awesome! they do sound very much influenced by The Killers and even did a cover of All These Things That I've Done. and they have very nice songs. plus, the frontman Saiful has a unique voice. i like. i like.
finally went jamming with the new band on Sunday night. i'd rather not say much about it 'cause it's only our first jamming session but some of you may have heard of the guys on the local malay radio stations and saw them on Suria.
this is the band's side project and we have a competition coming up...and i'm anxious. excited and nervous. dan takut kena marah. haha. nah, they're a bunch of fun gentlemen.
and they love indon music as much as i do! yay! and they drive so i don't have to worry about missing the last train when we finish jamming late at night! yay! hurhur.
okay bye, saya ada banyak kerja.
